Everything you need to know to verify your account, build a winning profile, and manage your leads effectively on Grafters Market.
👑 1. Setting up your Public Profile
Your profile is your digital shop window. Homeowners check this before they hire you—a blank profile significantly reduces your chances of winning a job.
Accessing the Editor
Log in to your Dashboard. In the secondary menu, click "📢 My Public Profile". In the top right corner of your profile, click the purple "✎ Edit My Profile" button.
Uploading your Logo or Photo
Click the circular profile image. You can upload a high-quality JPG, PNG, or WEBP file (up to 2MB). We highly recommend a clear photo of your face or a professional business logo.
Writing your Bio
Don't leave the "About the Business" section blank! State your years of experience, the specific areas you cover, your specialties (e.g., "Full kitchen refits"), and any guarantees you offer (e.g., "Clean, tidy, and fully insured").
Adding Social Links (Premium Only)
If you are on the Pro or Ultimate tier, click "Add Social Link". Select your platform (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and paste your full URL (e.g., https://www.facebook.com/yourpage). Ensure you click Save Changes at the bottom of the page when you are done.
🛡️ 2. Getting Verified
Verification proves to homeowners that you are a legitimate, safe business to hire. You cannot unlock leads until your core documents are approved.
Uploading Public Liability Insurance
From your dashboard, click the "Manage & Upload Documents" button. Under the Insurance section, upload a PDF or clear photograph of your current Public Liability certificate. You must also type in your Policy Number.
Trade-Specific Certifications
If you perform regulated work (Gas, Electrical, Roofing), you must upload your registration certificates (e.g., Gas Safe card, NICEIC certificate). Without these, restricted jobs will be hidden from your live feed.
⏳ Wait Times:
Our admin team manually reviews every document to ensure platform safety. Approvals typically take less than 2 hours during normal working hours. Your dashboard progress bar will update automatically once approved.
📈 3. Using the Review Widget
The Review Widget allows you to embed your 5-star Grafters Market reviews directly onto your own website, turning your existing traffic into new leads.
Generating your Code
From your dashboard, click "⭐ My Reviews". You will see the Website Trust Widgets section at the top.
- Choose a Style: Click on the visual cards to preview how the Standard List, Box Grid, Carousel, or Mini Badge will look.
- Copy the Code: Once you find a style you like, click the purple "Copy Snippet" button next to the HTML code box.
- Embed it: Paste that exact HTML code into your website builder (WordPress, Wix, Shopify, etc.) using a "Custom HTML" or "Embed" block.
Note: The widget updates automatically! Every time a homeowner leaves a new review on Grafters Market, it will instantly appear on your website.
💳 4. Subscriptions & Wallets
Grafters Market operates on a fair, lead-by-lead basis. You only pay to unlock the jobs you actually want to quote on.
Wallet Credits
To buy a lead, you need Wallet Credits. If you are on the "Standard" (Pay-As-You-Go) plan, simply click "Top Up Wallet" on your dashboard. Credits never expire.
Premium Tiers (Pro & Ultimate)
Upgrading your subscription gives you major advantages:
- Early Access: Premium tiers unlock leads 15 to 30 minutes before Standard users even see them.
- Monthly Credits: Your subscription fee automatically converts into monthly wallet credits.
- Discounts: Ultimate tier members receive an automatic 10% discount on every lead they purchase.
